鹃
1、(形声。从鸟,肙(yuān)声。本义:鸟名,即杜鹃)又名郭公、杜宇、布谷、子规。一种常见的鸟,上体灰褐色,下体白色而具暗色横斑,其显著特点是双音节叫声,并把卵产于别的鸟巢中为它代孵,吃毛虫,是益鸟。
鹃血：传说杜鹃啼声凄苦,日夜不停,甚至口中流血。常比喻悲怨之深
