1、(形声。从金,建声。本义:鼎上贯通两耳的横杠)。
2、同本义。
键,铉也。---《说文》。段玉裁注:“谓鼎扃也。以木横关鼎耳而举之。非是则既炊之鼎不可举也。故谓之关键。”
3、车辖。安在车轴两端,管住车轮不脱离轴的铁棍。
