誓
1、(形声。从言,折声。本义:发誓;立誓)。
2、同本义。
誓,以言约束也。---《说文》。段注:“凡自表不食言之辞皆曰誓,亦约束之意也。”
约信曰誓。---《礼记·曲礼》
予誓,告汝誓命。---《书·甘誓》。注:“要信也。”
信誓旦旦,不思其反。---《诗·卫风·氓》
司射西面誓之。---《仪礼·大射仪》。注:“犹告也。”
而誓之曰:“不及黄泉,无相见也。---《左传·隐公元年》
