1、(会意。从而,从寸。而亦声。“而”指面颊,“寸”指法度,刑法。在面颊上施刑罚,指剃须。字本作“耏”。从而,从彡。本义:古时一种剃掉胡须两年的刑罚)。
2、同本义。
耏,罪不至耏也。---《说文》。按,不剃发也。
耏以上请之。---《汉书·高帝纪》。应劭注:“轻罪不至于耏,完其耏鬓。故曰耏。”
