甸
1、(会意。从田,包省声,田亦声。本义:王田)。
2、古时都城的郭外称郊,郊外称甸。
甸,天子五百里地。---《说文》。段注:“甸,王田也。”
五百里甸服。---《书·禹贡》。注:“为天子服治田也。”
千里之内曰甸。---《礼制·王制》
