诰
1、(形声。从言,告声。本义:告诉)。
2、同本义,上告下曰诰。
诰,告也。---《说文》。段注:“以言告人,古用此字,今则用告字。以此诰为上告下之字。”
按,上告下之义,古用诰,秦复造诏安当之。---《说文通训定声》
伊尹申诰于王。---《书·太甲下》
后以施命诰四方。---《易·姤》
告上曰告,发下曰诰。---《列子·杨朱》注
雅告奥义。---《书·序》
