诔
1、(形声。从言,耒声。本义:叙述死者生前事迹,表示哀悼,亦即为谥法所本。仅用于上对下)同本义,即今之致悼辞。
诔,谥也。从言,耒声。累列生时行迹,读之以作谥者。---《说文》
六曰诔。---《周礼·大祝》
幼不诔长。---《礼记·曾子问》
