1、(形声。从肉,亡声。本义:心脏与横隔膜之间的部位。中医认为这是药力达不到的部位) 同本义。
肓,心下鬲上也。---《说文》
居肓之上膏之下。---《左传·成公十年》。注:“鬲也。按:心下膏,膏下肓,肓下鬲。”
病入膏肓：古代医学称心尖的脂肪为膏。病极严重,难以医治。
