幅
1、(形声。从巾,畐(fú)声。从“巾”表示与布帛有关。声符“畐”训“满”(参“福”字条),在字中亦兼有表义作用。布帛的宽度(广)与“满”有相通之处,故可以引申。本义: 布帛的宽度)。
2、同本义。古制一幅为二尺二寸。今为布帛、呢绒等宽度的通称。
幅,布帛广也。---《说文》

半幅终幅。---《仪礼·士丧礼》。注:“半幅一尺,终幅二尺。”
