1、(形声。从土,冋(jiǒng)声。本义:都邑的远郊) 同本义。
邑外谓之郊,郊外谓之牧,牧外谓之野,野外谓之林,林外谓之坰。象远界也。---《说文》
在坰之野。---《诗·鲁颂·坰》。传:“远野也。”
