厢
1、(形声。从厂(hǎn)相声。从厂,与房屋有关。本义:东西廊)。
2、同本义。
厢,廊也。---《说文新附》
室有东西厢曰庙。---《尔雅·释宫》。孙注:“厢,夹室前堂。”李注:“厢,谓宗庙殿有东西小堂也。”
